I just spoke with Ceryn. Not a criminal. Not a saint. Just someone people trust.
Stealing is wrong. I will not pretend otherwise.
But I did not understand how bad it had gotten out there. Pumpkingdom's shadow reaches farther than our gates.
So here's what will happen. The gates stay closed. But I will be slower to notice a sack that is not mine. And I will start pushing for proper rations that do not require sneaking.
