I started with a few hens. Just enough to keep the ovens going when the frost bites hardest.

But lately? It's like winter can't touch them. The purple blight spreads, folk go hungry, and my chickens multiply like they're mocking us.

They're everywhere. In the snowbanks. On the roofs. Pecking holes in sacks we can't replace.

I can't just... cut them down. They're mine and they're living. I raised them.

Please. Talk to Runa at the Shiverfield Guard. She'll know what to do. I just need an answer that doesn't make my stomach turn.

Well, that’s disappointing. The crystalline structure hasn't changed at all. They're identical. That was a great big waste of time.
At least we’ve confirmed that simple physics still applies here and that wooden tools are completely useless for this depth.
